Hi! I’m Mac. Welcome to my dream shop, custom built from the ground up to provide you the best service possible, and give your car the quality care it deserves.
Mac’s Automotive is an investment in my neighborhood. I’ve lived in Lakewood for years, and in the Long Beach area for decades. For me and my family, this is home.
I provide quality service that’s honest and straightforward. We’re probably neighbors—chances are we’ve crossed paths while I’m out with my family, or running errands. I want to be proud seeing you drive by, knowing we’re helping keep you on the move.
I started in 1998, working my way up to shop manager and owner. I’ve been a mechanic, a smog tech and an alignment specialist. When I’ve worked for others—even when I bought my first shops—I’ve had to do my best with an existing layout.
This shop is my dream facility come true, like how you might wish your kitchen sink were closer to the stove, or that your office window faced a different direction.
And this is my dream team. All my life I’ve kept track of talent, people with a work ethic and quality standards I’ve admired, and these are the people I’ve asked to come on board. This is my staff, but this is your team—they work for you, and so do I.

Thony
Service Manager Thony (who pronounces his name “Tony”) is a Lakewood local and lifelong resident—he’s worked in Lakewood and Long Beach his entire career, nearly 20 years.
“Thony is passionate about cars and he LOVES customers,” says Mac. “He’s super knowledgeable about cars, but he understands our real business isn’t fixing cars, but taking care of people.”
“Everything we have is state-of-the-art equipment, across the board, that lets us provide an amazing level of car care,” says Thony. “I started tinkering with cars when I was 14—I still have a race car—my very first job was installing car stereos. I worked my way up from tire installer to alignment tech, then became a mechanic and service manager. This is my dream shop, one that will let us care for customers like family.”
“I live less than a mile away from the shop, and every customer gets treated like a neighbor,” says Thony. “This is my community. I’m never truly off work—my cell’s on my business card, so customers can call me directly. I’ll always try to help, even after hours. It’s the level of care neighbors deserve.”
